                    We are a small in-home breeder just east of Atlanta, Ga.  Located on 5 completely fenced wooded acres with a small lake...which makes the dogs very happy.  My husband and I share the 5 acres with our goldens, 2 horses, cats, and a variety of passing wildlife.

                  

                   Our mission is breeding the finest dogs possible to improve the breed while maintaining the golden retriever AKC breed standard and the true golden temperament.  Temperament and health are our first priority.   All of our goldens are AKC registered and have OFA/CERF clearances of hips & elbows, eyes, and heart.   With extensive health screening and intensive socialization of puppies from birth we are focusing on quality, never quantity breeding.  We have a very limited breeding program, our dogs are house pets first and show dogs second.  We place companion puppies with spay/neuter contracts and AKC limited registration.

 

                   I have owned, trained, and shown many other breeds until one day I was asked to show a golden for a good friend ....those soulful eyes, gentle touch, and trustful loving heart...I was completely hooked!!!  I then went on a mission to find that special golden angel boy.   "Osyprey Gold Strikes Again" joined our happy family....thus, "GoldStrike" begins.

 

                   We are proud members of The Golden Retriever Club of America, The Atlanta Golden Retriever Club, and The Conyers Kennel Club.  I am currently the President of The Atlanta Golden Retriever Club and on the Board of Directors with The Conyers Kennel Club.  I am also an AKC CGC Evaluator.
